Artist Spotlight: Michael Michaud

Abbie Hart

Our first artist spotlight blog post is on the legendary jewelry artisan Michael Michaud, who we carry in store! We first started carrying Michael in store in 2005, and his work has fascinated us and our customers ever since.

Michael uses the lost wax method to cast gorgeous, elegant botanical jewelry in bronze and glass. Currently, we carry both bronze and glass work by him, and have pieces from the cranberry, blueberry, blue violet, and Giverny water lily collections.

Like the owner of the Prints and the Potter Gallery, Michael attended the Rochester Institute of Technology. He now lives in Connecticut and sells his work all over the world. We hope you'll stop by and see our Michael Michaud display!
